Agreements | Trademarks and Disclaimers | Privacy & Security 1. Welcome Bonus cannot be combined with any other offer and applies to new, approved primary cardholders only; it may not apply if you convert your existing CIBC Credit Card, or if your existing CIBC Credit Card is converted into this card. Welcome Bonus will be awarded after you complete your first card purchase. Offer may be changed or withdrawn at any time. 2. Awarded after the first purchase with the card. Applies to new, approved primary cardholders only. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer. 3. Common carrier fares and other trip costs must be charged to your card prior to your departure to activate certain coverages. Common Carrier Accident Insurance is available only to the Primary Cardholder and his/her spouse and dependent children; the benefit amount is based on the type of loss suffered up to the maximum coverage limits specified in your certificate of insurance. Auto Rental Collision/Loss Damage Insurance applies to rental periods up to 48 days, only; to activate coverage, the rental car company's collision damage waiver (CDW) or loss damage waiver (LDW) must be declined and the full cost of the rental must be charged to your card. Auto Rental Collision/Loss Damage Insurance provides coverage up to the actual cash value ("ACV") of the rental vehicle. Note that some rental car companies may assess their damages at an amount greater than the ACV of the rental vehicle and you may be liable to the rental car company for the difference. Please read the terms of your rental agreement carefully to ensure that you are fully insured. Out-of-Province Travel Medical Insurance is available only to the primary cardholder who must be age 64 or under, and if so, it is also available to his/her spouse, who must also be age 64 or under, and their dependent children for the first 15 days of a Trip; this insurance covers eligible expenses for the benefits described in your certificate of insurance in the event of a medical emergency which occurs while travelling outside your province of residence, up to the maximum coverage limits specified in your certificate. Trip Interruption and Trip Cancellation coverage are available only to primary cardholder, his/her spouse and dependent children travelling with primary cardholder or spouse; coverage applies to eligible expenses you incur as a result of the occurrence of an insured risk specified in your certificate of insurance, up to the maximum coverage limits specified in your certificate. Trip Interruption coverage applies only while you are travelling. Your Out-of-Province Travel Medical Insurance, Trip Interruption Insurance and Trip Cancellation Insurance may be subject to a pre-existing medical/health condition coverage exclusion that applies to medical and health conditions, symptoms and/or treatments that existed prior to your trip - please refer to your certificate of insurance for details. The Purchase Security feature helps protect most new items of personal property when the purchase price is charged to your card by insuring the item for 90 days from purchase in the event of loss, theft or damage. The Extended Protection/Extended Warranty feature doubles the term of your original Canadian or U.S. manufacturer's warranty up to one year on most new items of personal property when the purchase price is charged to your card. Your Purchase Security & Extended Protection/Extended Warranty Insurance, Baggage Insurance, Trip Interruption Insurance and Trip Cancellation Insurance may be "excess insurance" (meaning all other sources of insurance, indemnity or recovery must be exhausted before these insurances pay any benefits to you) - please refer to your certificate of insurance for details. The above insurances are underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada and are subject to limitations and exclusions contained in the certificates of insurance distributed to you with the Card Package. The above insurances do not apply to all CIBC cards; the card you select will determine the insurance included with your card; for more information regarding which insurance is included with a card visit www.cibc.com/ca/credit-card/agreements-insurance.html; and also see the insurance certificates distributed with your card package. This paragraph is intended to serve only as a general description of certain features of the above insurances; see your Certificate of Insurance for complete details. For more information you may contact Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada by calling 1 866 363-3338 (toll free from the US and Canada) or 905 403-3338 (collect from anywhere) or by writing to Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada, Claims Management and Services, 2225 Erin Mills Parkway, Suite 1000,Mississauga, Ontario L5K 2S9. 4. Aeroplan Miles are earned on card purchases less returns, and not on cash advances, regular Aerogold Cheques , fees, interest or payments. Aeroplan Miles will be awarded only if your CIBC Aerogold Visa Card Account is in good standing on each monthly statement date (otherwise, miles are cancelled). Aeroplan Miles are not actual miles but points that can be exchanged for flight rewards, as well as over 400 other products or service rewards, such as hotel stays, electronics, sports equipment and spa packages. Taxes, landing and departure fees and other charges and surcharges may apply to Aeroplan reward travel. Aeroplan partners, rules and regulations are subject to change without notice. 5. Applicable cash back depends on annual volume of net card purchases. Cash back is earned on a tiered basis on card purchases less returns and not on cash advances, Convenience Cheques, Balance Transfers, fees, interest or payments. For the Dividend Visa Infinite Card, cash back is only earned on net annual card purchases up to $50,000. Cash back is paid into the card account when the December account statement is issued, if the card account is then in good standing (or the cash back is cancelled). Dividend Card cash back is calculated as follows: on the first $1,500 in net annual purchases, cash back earned is 0.25%; on the next $1,500 in net annual purchases, the cash back earned is 0.5%; on amounts greater than $3,000 the cash back earned is 1%. Dividend Visa Infinite Card cash back is calculated as follows: on the first $3,000 in net annual purchases, the cash back earned is 0.5%; on the next $12,000 in net annual purchases, the cash back earned is 1.0%; on the next $20,000 in net annual card purchases, the cash back earned is 1.5%; and on the next $15,000 in net annual purchases, the cash back earned is 2%. Dividend Unlimited World Elite MasterCard Card cash back is calculated as follows: on the first $3,000 in net annual purchases, the cash back earned is 0.5%; on the next $12,000 in net annual purchases, the cash back earned is 1.0%; on the next $20,000 in net annual card purchases, the cash back earned is 1.5%; and on the next $15,000 in net annual purchases, the cash back is 2%; on net annual purchases greater than $50,000, the cash back earned is 1%. See program terms for details. Program terms are subject to change without notice. 6. "Cash" means cash advances, balance transfers and Convenience Cheques. These current annual interest rates may change from time to time after prior notice to cardholders. 7. PETRO-POINTS are earned on Card purchases less returns. All Card purchases earn PETRO-POINTS, except ineligible purchases at Petro-Canada. Cash advances, regular Convenience Cheques, balance transfers, fees, interest, payments and PETRO-POINTS redemptions do not earn PETRO-POINTS. PETRO-POINTS may not be credited if your MasterCard account is not in Good Standing or is overlimit; also, if your MasterCard account is not in Good Standing, previously credited PETRO-POINTS may be removed from your PETRO-POINTS account. PETRO-POINTS partners, rules and regulations are subject to change without notice. For more information please refer to www.PETRO-POINTS.com ™ Visa Int./lic. user TM2 Trademark of CIBC.
